Description: A friendly welcome is always afforded to our guests at our Mountain View Bed & Breakfast along with what can described as one of the most scenic areas in Connemara. We are surrounded on all sides with spectacular mountain views and streams making it a walker' s paradise. We are situated close to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, Croagh Patrick and Lough Corrib. A beautiful secluded sandy beach "Glaislean" is just a 20 minute drive.
Leenane Village, location for the film "The Field", is an ideal location to spend a relaxing evening to enjoy a meal and later a drink in the village bars.
Perfect base for the Connemara Marathon, Mini Gaelforce and Connemara walking festivals etc - Transport to and from these events available on request.
Traditional Irish music and dance can be enjoyed on weekend nights in the local Kilmilken bar just 3km from the B&B. Should you have any additional requests before or during your stay we are happy to oblige.
